Snapdeal users can now order cash using the app and get it delivered right at your doorsteps. The order can be placed through your debit card / FreeCharge mobile wallet.
This is a great step taken by Snapdeal to kill the burden of having to wait in a long queue before ATMs. However, you can withdraw only a maximum of 2000 rupees per day using this service, and a nominal 1 rupee charge is levied on your transaction for the convenience fee.
An additional advantage of this service over others like Ola or Grofers, is that you need not have to order anything to avail the cash at home; only thing you have to do is place a request on the app.
Snapdeal says this deal is a ” goodwill gesture ” for the customers that order via Cash On Delivery payment method. The service is now available only in Bengaluru and Gurugram, but it is expected to hit the other cities soon.
