Xiaomi is all set to launch their very first “offline” smartphone – Redmi 3S Plus, in India. Carrying an MRP of INR 8,799, the device is expected to go on sale in Indian retail stores on October 1.
It is powered by Snapdragon 430 SoC and sports a 5″ HD display. There is also 2 gigs of RAM, and 32 GB internal storage. There is a 13 MP shooter at the back and a 5 MP selfie camera. The device runs Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow and also boasts a fingerprint scanner.
This “offline” smartphone is the first implementation of Xiaomi’s plans to double their offline presence in Indian retail stores.
