Appearing as a rebrand to the already launched A92s, the Oppo Reno4 Z 5G joins the Reno4 family and should appear on sale in store offerings in even more regions.
Launched in April for the Indian market, the Oppo A92s is now relaunched for the global market under the name Reno4 Z 5G.
Reno4 Z 5G, an old product with a new name
Practically unchanged in terms of hardware and overall design of the case, the “new” model is distinguished only by the fact that it is offered in a single version with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, and the pink version of the phone seems to be missing from the offer . It remains to be seen to what extent these differences and the passage of time will contribute to the readjustment of the price of 290 euros, requested at the spring launch.
Like the A92s, the Reno4 Z 5G uses the Dimensity 800 mid-range chipset, produced by MediaTek. In fact, with a still fresh exterior, the phone has as a central element the Full HD + screen (1080 × 2400 pixels) of 6.57 inches, cut according to the contour of the case and able to use a rate of 120Hz to refresh the image. Visible behind the oval-shaped perforation, we find a 16MP front camera assisted by DoF sensor for applying depth effects in portrait photos.
Grouped in a square-shaped ornament, the quad-camera system present at the back includes a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide camera, 2MP macro camera and DoF sensor.
The list of features is completed with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 4000mAh battery with fast charging function (18W power), jack headphone output and dual-SIM support.
Oppo Reno4 Z 5G runs Android 10 in ColorOS 7.1 interpretation and will be offered in black and white color versions.
