Ready for launch on October 14, OnePlus 8T 5G is already outlining a solid upgrade from the debut version of OnePlus 8.
At the center of successive revelations, the new smartphone already has a list of the main specifications and presentation images, leaving only to find out about the innovations that will be mentioned in the promotional leaflets.
OnePlus 8T 5G will be able to run for a full day with 15 minutes of charging
For example, OnePlus 8T 5G will be delivered with a screen supporting a refresh rate of 120Hz, the new smartphone automatically entering the radar of Android gaming enthusiasts. Warp Charge 65 technology also seems to be addressed to them, which promises to charge the 4500 mAh battery from 0% to 100% battery in 39 minutes, respectively 58% charge level after only 15 minutes. In fact, the company promises that 15 minutes of charging will be enough for use throughout the day.
Apparently, the secret of Warp Charge 65 technology is to “break” the Li-Ion battery into two separate cells, which can be powered in parallel more efficiently than a single monolithic battery. The strategy is already used by rival OPPO, which has implemented 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 technology for the OPPO Find X2.
According to recent rumors, OnePlus 8T will be priced at 599 euros in basic equipment, reasonable for a phone based on the Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset and equipped with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The higher version, with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage could reach 699 euros. Completing the offer, the phone will have a triple-camera system with 64MP main sensor, assisted with optical image stabilization function. For comparison, the original OnePlus 8 offered only 48MP resolution on the main sensor.
Already appeared in the catalog of the popular Geekbench, the phone obtains a single-core score of 912 points, respectively 3288 points in the multi-core test, which positions it at a level of performance with a few percent compared to the current model.
