The Oppo Reno6 series of mid-range smartphones was unveiled for the Chinese market in May, being only a matter of time before the Chinese manufacturer will deliver the new models to Western markets as well.
With a design inspired by the iPhone 12 series, Oppo Reno6 Pro + passed to the US authority FCC, responsible for certifying wireless communications equipment for sale in the US, being only a matter of time until the new smartphone will be announced in the global version .
It is not yet confirmed that the more affordable versions, Reno6 and Reno6 Pro will join the Pro + model, but there are no reasons why this should not happen.
Not surprisingly, the international version of the Reno6 Pro + appeared with practical specifications identical to the Asian edition: Snapdragon 870 chipset, 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with 6.55-inch diagonal, 1080 × 2400 pixel resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.
The photo configuration is based on a 50MP main sensor, 13MP telephoto camera, 16MP ultra-wide camera and 2MP brown camera. Behind the perforated screen we will find a 32MP front camera.
Depending on the budget, the Pro + will be available in 8GB / 128GB and 12GB / 256GB internal storage.
Just like the iPhone 12 series devices, the Reno Pro + Cesta is built using two flat, curvature-free glass panels at the edges that are installed on a metal frame with straight edges and rounded corners. But the camera module differs significantly from the one used by Apple, more like the design of older generation Oppo phones.
