A new leak from the popular tipster Roland Quandt suggests that Moto might be working on a midnight blue color variant of Moto G5 Plus. He tweeted a series of pictures of what looks like the press renders of the Moto G5 Plus in the new color.
This isn’t the first time Roland is coming up with the pictures of an alleged blue variant of Moto G5 Plus. Last month, he gave us a glimpse of the upcoming smartphone and claimed that it would be launched in Latin America soon.
The images show that the new G5 Plus variant will come with a blue colored back cover, however, the front panel will retain its black color. If the pictures are legit, the blue variant definitely looks very pleasing to the eye and looks way more attractive than the current Lunar Gray and Gold versions of the smartphone.
It is disappointing that there is no word about the availability of the upcoming smartphone, however, reports suggest that it will be limited to Latin American markets. Further, the handset is expected to come with the same price tag as that of the existing variants.
In case you didn’t know, the Moto G5 Plus was launched in February during the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2017) in Barcelona. The smartphone has a 5.2-inch Full HD display along with a 12MP/5MP camera combo. Under the hood, it is powered by Snapdragon 625 chipset clocked at 2.0GHz. In most of the markets, the handset is available in two storage variants: 2GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage. Apart from that, it is backed by a 3000 mAh battery and runs Android Nougat out of the box.
