Snapdragon 888 phones have been in the AnTuTu rankings since December, but now almost dominate, with five models in the Top 10. In February, another top processor debuted, along with Xiaomi’s Redmi K40: Snapdragon 870, which is a kind of intermediate step between Snapdragon 865 and the new top 888 model. The results confirm just that, with small differences between the performance of this processor and the top model.
Many models on the list are not available in Europe
iQOO 7, Vivo’s most powerful gaming phone, still ranks first in the AnTuTu rankings. It benefits from 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage and an average record score in AnTuTu of 726,939 points. The next place in the ranking is also occupied by Vivo, with X60 Pro +, another model with Snapdragon 888, with 726,925 points.
Next, we have Redmi K30 Pro from Xiaomi, Xiaomi Mi 11, Huawei Mate 40 Pro, equipped with Kirin 9000 chipset, Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, Redmi K40, the first model with Snapdragon 870 in this ranking, Oppoo Reno 5 Pro + 5G, Redemi K30S and, finally, iQOO 5.

Mid-range performance is dominated by MediaTek and Huawei processors
But it is interesting to see the performance difference between Redmi K40 with Snapdragon 870, 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage and the previous model, Redmi K30S with Snapdragon 865, 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The difference is only 2,000 points, so in terms of performance, users will not see real differences. Qualcomm seems to offer the old processor with a slightly higher frequency, at a lower price.
