Xiaomi is hosting an event on October 25 in Beijing, where it will be launching the much-rumored Mi Note 2. The invite posted on Twitter confirms the phone will have two-sided dual curves, which while we don’t know exactly what that means, sounds promising.
Pocket Now has shared what look like legitimate Xiaomi presentation slides, picked up by Chinese media site Weibo. The slides point to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, putting it firmly on par with the other flagship phones we’ve seen this year. A slide also confirms the presence of an iris scanner, likely to work in a similar way to the one found in the now-deceased Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
Other leaked specs include :
- 5.7-inch Super AMOLED 2560 x 1440 display with force touch
- 23 MP rear camera
- 8MP front-facing camera
- 4100 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0
The device is expected to carry a price tag of INR 30,000 (approx.) in India. Well, with such great specs at this price tag – That’s a steal!
